“I did end up going with my family, and we all really enjoyed it. The beach was very clean, lots of lifeguards, really warm water and the shallow area went in pretty far. My kids absolutely loved the playground and watching the planes and the T go rushing by. We would definitely go back.”

“They have done a lot of work with the beach and if you haven't been there lately you will be surprised at how much better the beach is now! There is a new bike path/walkway along the beach and an overpass across Bennington St. to the shopping center. There is ample parking at the shopping plaza or at the beach itself. There is a nice playground for kids, and picnic tables, as well as covered benches where you can sit and watch the planes taking off and landing at Logan Airport right across the Harbor. It is a fun place to take the kids and watch planes and a nice quite relaxing beach to swim at. “

“It is one fine beach. I first went with my husband and two-year old son last week. It is easily accessible. The parking space is huge. The beach is clean and not all beaches can claim that. The bonus is the toddler park. Also, my son can’t stop jumping when he saw the planes overhead. Going to the beach is now a part of our weekend routine.”
